A Background Check form must be completed completed form and given to WBLAHA Registrar, Darlene Turner. Upon receipt, Darlene will register all coaches with USA Hockey.

COACHING EDUCATION PROGRAM (CEP) for New and Returning WBLHA Coaches |
|
| All youth hockey coaches in Minnesota and the rest of the country are required to attend a series of clinics before they are eligible to coach. The clinics are designed to help coaches provide curriculum and use the proper teaching techniques to insure the proper development of their players. The card is valid for three seasons. Therefore, if your last clinic sticker says 2005-06 then you need to get recertified at the same level or move up to the next level. |

Below are minimum criteria for districts and/or affiliates
establishing mandatory coaching education requirement policies.
All coaches (heads and assistants) must have the
USA Hockey coaching education card by December 31 of the calendar year.
