Mite/U8/Clinic Registration

Registration remains open for the following programs:

Clinic program: First time skaters, ages 4 to 9

If you are at least 4 years old, by July 1st of 2011, then you can join our clinic program.  

Clinic players skate once per week, on Saturdays, at the Hippodome. Boys and girls, from ages 4 to 9 are on the ice having fun and learning the fundamentals of the game.  

Cost for clinic is $85 and the season runs from November 5th to March 5th

To sign up, please following these steps:

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2011-2012 Season.

  • Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
  • Step 3: To complete your registration, you must also fill out and sign the Consent to Treat/Medical History form and the Code of Conduct form. You will find both of these in the "Required Forms" section of your registration.

Mite and 8U program: Young players, 5 to 8 , who have skated in the association

If you have skated with the association in the past, and you are under the age of  8 and your birthdate falls between 7/1/02 - 6/30/07, then please be sure to sign up for hockey before October 15th.

Mite and 8U  players must go through grading, and the grading sessions are as follows:

  •  8U - Saturday, November 5 at the Hippodrome (check website for times and further details)

    •  Teams will be formed following grading and coaches will call players within 24 hours of grading completion with information on their first practice and team meeting time/location.

  • Mites - Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 at the Hippodrome (check website for times and further details)

    •  Teams will be formed following the final grading sessions and coaches will call players on Monday or Tuesday to let them know which team they will be skating on.  Practices will begin the week of October 31st.
There will also be a Mite Skills Camp that both Mite and 8U skaters can participate in.  The Skills Camp will be held on both Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 at the Hippodrome.  Session times for your skater can be found on the Mite page of the website at www.wblhockey.com

The season for both 8U and Mite teams will end in early March with a season ending Jamboree.  More details on the year end jamborees will be provided as the season progresses.
