Coach Joe Law Receives 2019 Bruce Johnson Award

The Bruce Johnson Award is given each year to an active Minnesota Hockey Coaches Association board member - or an individual who has recently served on the board - in recognition for outstanding contributions in promoting the Association and the sport of hockey.

White Bear Lake youth hockey coach Joe Law has received the 2019 Bruce Johnson Award. He is in his twentieth year of coaching high school hockey and has been an active member of the Minnesota Hockey Coaches Association since 2007. Law has also been involved in the Minnesota Hockey High Performance programs and recently become active in the White Bear Lake Youth Hockey Association, coaching his son’s PeeWee team and serving as the association’s representative to District 2.  Coach Law works as a 4th Grade teacher at Golden Lake Elementary in Circle Pines.  He currently lives in White Bear Lake with his wife Angie and their son Matthew.
