The White Bear Lake 19U Girls team won the 2016 Minnesota Girls 19U State Tournament the weekend of March 11-13 at the Burnsville Ice Center.
White Bear Lake shut out Blaine 2-0 and knocked off Eagan in a 2-1 overtime thriller before the Bears dispatched the Edina Hornets 3-1 in the state championship game on Sunday.
White Bear Lake will be among state champions of all levels to be recognized for their achievement between periods of the Minnesota Wild’s game vs. the Calgary Flames on Thursday, March 24 at Xcel Energy Center.
Congratulations to the Bears on bringing home the ultimate in postseason hardware!!
