Former Minnesota North Star and Elk River High School head coach Gordie Roberts, along with several other high school coaches on Minnesota Hockey’s Player Development team, will lead practices designed to prepare Bantam/15U and high school defensemen for the upcoming season.
The clinic will place an emphasis on skating skills for defensemen along with offensive and defensive tactics necessary to be a successful. The high school sessions will also utilize forwards to challenge the defensemen in high-paced line-rush and in-zone situations.
High School Defense Clinics
- The clinics are designed for high school age defensemen.
- The two-day clinics will include four hours of ice (two hours per day).
- There will be a limit of 18 defensemen per clinic.
- The registration fee is $175 per player.
Bantam Defense Clinics
- The clinics are designed for Bantam/15U age defensemen.
- Players will receive two hours of instruction on one day
- There will be a limit of 20 defensemen per clinic.
- The registration fee is $90 per player.
