Recent Squirt C Orange News

January 19th Update

Good Morning!  What a great weekend - the boys played hard and deserved the trophy.  I have a couple quick updates this morning.
  • The Winona bracket is ready, I've attached it here and it is also posted on our webpage.  We did end up with a Friday night game but at least it is not the 5:15 game. :)
  • We will plan on 1 team meal while in Winona, it will be a taco feed potluck sometime on Saturday.  I will send out the food assignments later this week or early next.  Please reply and let me know how many people will be eating from your family so I can plan accordingly.
  • You may have heard from your son that the locker room is pumping with tunes now.  We tested it out Friday and the boys loved it so we purchased a speaker on Saturday for the team ($150 from team fees) - we will raffle off the speaker at the end of the season party.
  • Thank you to the Hoy's for hanging our team banner at the games and tournaments for a large portion of the season!  We are looking for a family that is willing to take this over for the rest of the season.  It is a pretty easy task, you just need a good memory to remember to put it up and then take it down for every game.
